Does anyone have a hack to conditionalize a table column? According to Help (and my attempt), you can conditionalize rows but not columns. Odd.

I need to hide a column as a test; it's possible we'll display the column in a later version of the document. FM won't let me conditionalize it. Maybe one of the wizards here knows a way  . . .

You can do it now with FM2015. Otherwise, not possible with any earlier version.

re: Otherwise, not possible with any earlier version.

Sort of possible if the optional columns are the right-most, using Condition Codes for the cell data and Color Views to turn off the borders and fills.

Also possible using multiple tables, the first of which has all the data, and the laters having selected data, xref'd in from the master table, with entire tables switched on and off with CCs applied to table anchors.

For a single-page (or less) table, import it as a PDF or EPS from a spreadsheet. Have the spreadsheet present multiple views of the data. Conditionalize the anchor at import.

I've done all of these hacks, and would look to FM'15 if I had to do anything like it again.
