Equations: special spaces not working in strings

Since FM-12 Equation strings can not get special spaces (e.g. Thin Space by ESC, blank, t).

I ahve reported this in the bug base (4066585).

In FM-11 things are still OK, but FM-12 and FM-13 do not accept these short cuts although the definitions in cmds.cfg are still there.
