Erratic text box near edge of an image

Dear forum members,

Has anyone else noticed this behavior? Insert an anchored frame with an image (like a jpeg) inside it and then insert a text box and enter some text.  If you move the text box across the image, the text starts jumping around as it crosses the edge of the image and doesn't settle down until the text box is at least 1/8 inch away from the image boundary.

Is there any way to eliminate this behavior? I tried sending the image back and sending the text box forward but to no avail.

This is on Frame 7.2 on Windows XP.

Yours,

Michael F

Error,

That was the problem. As soon as I set the run around to Don't Run Around, the text box slid over the image smoothly. Thanks.

Next question: This will become another annoying setting to reset. I already have to set anchored frames to Centered and to a width, but at least those settings persist for the editing session.

Is there a way to globally set Run Around properties so I don't have to manually do it each time I insert an image?

Michael F

Not from Adobe.

I understand that there may be an aftermarket plug-in or script that does, however.
