erroneous Change Bars

Version: 15.0.3.603.  after a recent update we find erroneous change bars on automated content like TOC's and LEP pages.  No we do not have a checkmark in the option to auto generate revision bars nor has any content changes on our TOC pages yet frame is just reandomly adding the change bars to sporatic content.  Also note the the chapter pages to which the TOC enetry points has not be changes either.  Frame maker is sporatically adding change bars in our atomated content accross 5 users of this version.  It smells like a bug.

FrameMaker is annoyingly specific when evaluating what is a change...

Can you turn off Auto change bars before updating your book?

    Version: 15.0.3.603 Is not the latest version of FM-15. 

    Please have a look at https://helpx.adobe.com/framemaker/kb/framemaker-downloads.html, expand the drop down area 2019 Release  and get the latest update (8).

      K.Daube,  absolutly valid point and I have downloaded and applied the latest update to 2019.  Just need to process some manuals now and see if that change bar issue has resolved.  Thank You sir

      OK,  We updated to the latest version of Framemaker.  Issue continues.

      Hi,

       

      So none of your paragraph formats has change bars activated.

      And there isn't any condition which would have change bars?

      When you check, the character properties in a paragraph with a change bar, is there anything?

      Or when you select the whole section and check the character properties?

      When you update your TOC, are the change bars at the same paragraphs? Or at other paragraphs as before?

       

      If this would be a general bug, then I guess that more users would have encountered this issue. It's strange that all of you have this issue.

      Winfried,  These are auto generated tocs and no there are no character styles in the book that would include a change bar.  If we check character properties, there is a check in the checkbox for change bars... we didnt tag it.  Upone the next update to the book the change bar may remain in its current location or change to a diffrent location.  again there is no logic that would generate a change bar and they seem sporatic

      Version: 15.0.3.603 - that would be FM2019 - no chance of any bug fix showing up in that version now (unless it's something really fatal) now that FM2020 is out. I suspect your options are to either try out the demo of FM2020 or roll your version back to what made you happy before.
