Error 11024, xxxx und 11004, xxxx

Hi,

I worked a long time with FrameMaker 11 on a windows 7 machine.

last week i recieved a new screen with a better resolution, I thoght new Hardware should not effect software so much but after seting up everything i got a error starting up FrameMaker.

Internal error 11024, 24441156, 24441450, 27184949.

I thogt lets uninstall the full Technical Comunication Suite 4 and install it back and it will work again.

Unfortunately this was wrong thinking :-(.

the new internal error is now 11004, 14348612, 14348906, 17092309.

Is there a better way to uninstall the tcs4 then just with the windows uninstaller.

Do I need to delete other files.

What could cosing this errors?

Any idea?

I fount out, that the regular FrameMaker starts perfectly, just the structered Framemaker crashes, after about 8 Seconds and gives following Errors:

11004, 20443460, 20443754, 23187157

Watch FM start up - it initializes certain modules as it launches - try to determine at what point it crashes; that can give a clue as to what part may be corrupted. My suspicion is that it's the Linguistics folder that it's choking on.

yes, just about 8 seconds after starting up, but its just with FrameMaker.

Yes i also tryed instaling as Admin, it did als not work.

Because some installation errors are a result of inadequate permissions. Does the error occur when just starting up FM (no docs or books, just the program)?

Are you installing with full admin rights?
