Are you getting messages like "Internal Error 10014, xxxxxxx, xxxxxxxx, FrameMaker has detected a serious problem and must quit" ?

If so, then those codes are only known to FM engineering and there's not much that you can glean from the codes.

Perhaps if you describe what's happening, what you're doing at the point of the crash, which point version fo FM10 that you're using, etc. some further light or a workaround can be shed on your situation.

I was using a publication manager application that uses framemaker to generate documents. The error codes are for example :

    ERROR ****************************

                                    generating file "K:\TNT51\AIPEN\20131017\Documents\AD\AD_3\AD_3_00\ad3_0.fm"

    GenDoc terminated with error!

    Error Code: -1020

    Generating Documents terminated with error!

So I understand that the document ad3_0.fm is not being generated and the error code 1020 probably indicates a little more why. But I do not know how to translate this code.

    or

    k:\tnt51\aipen\20131017\documents\AD\AD_2\AD_2_01\ad2_1TUPJ.fm Open file error

AipN generation terminated with errors (Open file error)

Amendments Generation [] terminated with error!

    Error Code: -1002

    AmendmentBuilder terminated with Errors!

I'm again not sure what is wrong with AD2_1TUPJ.fm because I do not know what 1002 relates to

I think you need to query the makers of "GenDoc" about their error codes - nobody here's going to know anything about this other than the standard provisos of make sure you deal with all errors when updating your FM docs first before trying to do anything with them (print them as PDFs, send them to RH, convert to HTML, etc.)
