Question

exact list of what constitutes "document properties"?

I have been trying to troubleshoot an xliff issue which causes FrameMaker to crash. The issues seems to be related to the part of the template which is "document properties". But I have not been able to find a precise description of what - exactly - settings constitutes a documents properties.

  • pagination setup,
  • PDF properties,
  • View options are
  • File Info

What else is there?

    Hi Bjørn, I researched this when I wrote my ImportFormatsSpecial script. Here is a screenshot with the lower section showing individual document properties:

      Thank you @frameexpert ! Can't figure it out. Seems like FrameMaker does not delete PDF settings properly from the document when the settings are turned off. Right now, that is the suspect.  PDF imposes some sort of structure in connection with the para styles and I suppose that might trigger a crash when XLIFF export picks the document apart and imposes another structure. Merely guesswork, though 🙂
