FM 12.0.3 random hanging. Any suggestions?

After updating to FM 12.0.3 (Windows 7) about 2 weeks ago, the program is frequently hanging requiring a force quit. Today I've had to force quit 3 times over about 1.5 hours of work time. Is anyone else having this issue? I've had it hang when just entering a return. Thanks!

    Replying to my own question. There is a problem within the document I am working on. I opened a different document and there isn't a problem: IOW, no hangs. Will look into what is going on within the document that is causing all the hangs. Geez it's not fun being a newbie to FM!

    Try a MIF wash.

    Obscuranta: Is the size of the document file growing faster than you are adding content?

    If so, a degenerate possibility is that there is some import recursion going on, like the document importing itself (as a Text Inset) in some little text frame somewhere, in which most of it is out of sight. FM can't check for this (being a specific instance of the more general "Halting Problem"). And yes, I've seen it happen.

    I will try the MIF wash. The size isn't growing faster; however, I suspect your last suggest is correct. I had an entire page disappear. Thanks!
