FM 2017 "Save as PDF" hanging after upgrade to 14.02.425

Upgraded to FM 2017 14.02.425 yesterday;  “Save as PDF..” and “Save as Review PDF…” from .xml DITA files or Frame files, FM hangs. (Not Responding) message is in the title bar.

This is happening on files that we could successfully generate PDFs from before the upgrade. Happening on two different PCs with the same version of FM with numerous files.

We deleted the Preferences file in App Data Roaming as well, still no luck.

First thought: Is your print driver set to Adobe PDF?

If you still can't produce PDF, use the Print dialog to print to PS and convert with Distiller.

I often need to do this with graphics-heavy docs.

The problem resolved itself after a weekend. We are speculating that there may have been a network communication issue with Distiller, but we are really not sure if that is the answer. Something somewhere changed. If it starts to happen again we will update.
