FM 2019 - shortcut "editing with" for photoshop identical with RoboCcreenCapture

When wanting to edit an imported jpg file with photoshop using the shortcut esc + l + g FM opens RoboScreenCapture instead of Photoshop - as the shortcut is IDENTICAL! How can I change the keyboard shortcut or how can I use a shortcut to open photoshop and NOT RoboScreenCapture?
Anybody got an idea?

Assuming you've got your Windows File Associations set so that double clicking a .jpg image opens Photoshop, then what happens if you try double-clicking the image inside FM?

Hi, just to add something... this plugin allows you to set up right-click menu options to open a graphic in any application you want:

I use it constantly. It also has lots of other useful things for graphics. Disclaimer... I'm the author of the plugin.

It's that old OLE (Object Linking & Embedding) trick (that's mostly fallen out of favour these days, but still supported in some apps).

    Hi,

You posted your question in the FrameMaker forum.

In order to get answers to your questions, you should post in the RoboHelp forum.

    Best regards

But i try opening the file in FrmaeMaker 2019 - i do not work with RoboHelp.
When I do a right mouse click on my imported image (in FrameMAker 2019) and chose "edit in..." the floy-out menu shows:
    • Illustrator esc i l

    • Photoshop esc g l

    • RoboScreenCapture esc g l

And when I use that shortcut, FM opens the latter and not, as I would like - Photoshop

I do not see why I should post this problem in the RoboHelp forum as it is a FrameMaker problem!

    Hi,

Thank you very much. This info was missing in your first post.

You can edit some config files to change shortcuts. I do not know, if RoboScreenCapture is in these files.

You can find infos on Klaus Daube's website:

    https://www.daube.ch/docu/fmaker00.html#specialdoc

    Check these files:

Customising FrameMaker 14/15 (Configuration files section, page 18)

ESC sequencies (just to see what's there)

There Klaus describes how to change shortcuts.

Apart from this I recommend to describe your issue in the Adobe Tracker:

    Best regards
