Question

FM conversion to HTML5 is not converting character tags

Hi FM community,

I'm using FM2019 64bit. Very simple problem.

My client typically wants PDF output but now also wants HTML5 Interactive output. No problem.

BUT, for some reason whenever I have a code snippet (typically in a paragraph tag), where the code snippet is in a different font (COURIER NEW), the font update does not occur!

I've gone into the STS file and updated the Style Mapping for the character tag. Telling it to produce Courier New. But is doesn't do it.

Has anyone ever seen this problem? Ideas?

Appreciate any insights.

I use these settings and they work. Set to Use Source Style

Just a suggestion... It may be, that the changes actually do take place but that FrameMaker picks up old tmp files. Try changing the name of your output folder to another name, and run again.

Thanks for the suggestion...but sadly, it did not work.

Very odd. I'm stilling mulling around with this. I will report back if I get any changes to occur.

Thanks again for the suggestion.
