FM v13.0.3.494 crashes updating book with unresolved external cross-references

I have just submitted bug #4140392 on a crash updating a book with unresolved external cross-references.

I was trying to test the self-consistency message that people have reported with the new update. The book I started to test is structured and has numerous unresolved xrefs. FM crashed while performing the update. I tried again turning off the option to update xrefs during the update. FM still crashed.

I then created an unstructured book with one file. The file contains three pgfs, each containing an xref to a file I then renamed so that the xrefs were unresolved. I updated this new book and FM crashed. When I converted the xrefs to text, the update completed (and there was no self-consistency message).

    Hi Lynne,

I tested the bug on the files that you provided to me and was able to confirm that it is not related to cross references but with problems when using Quad High Definition monitors. We are working on this issue and will apprise you once it gets fixed.

    Hi Lynne,

Thanks for reporting this. I've alerted Vivek on this issue and the other Book inconsistency messages being generated (see thread: Book update error: Book is not self-consistent).

    Regards,
