FM12: "Paste Special" options are not working

In Framemaker 12, I suddenly have lost the ability to use the "Paste Special" option. I see the option in the Edit menu, but when I try to use it, nothing happens. Regular paste seems to work fine, but I use Paste Special all the time! Any ideas on how to fix this annoying situation? Thanks!

Hi Barb,

Yes I have, several times and I'm not seeing any other weirdness with Windows or clipboard memory or anything that helps me understand what has happened here. Very weird.

Is the menu entry "Paste Special" enabled or disabled, when you see the option in the Edit menu?
Try the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+v.
Does FM open the "Paste Special" dialogbox? If yes, what does the box show? Give us a screenshot.

Hi Lothar,

To answer each of your questions:

The menu entry "Paste Special" is enabled when I see the option in the Edit menu.
The shortcut Ctrl+Shift+v doesn't do anything at all.
FM does not open the "Paste Special" dialogbox. When I select Paste Special from the Edit menu, nothing happens at all.
