Font Issue v.12

I opened and edited a document that was authored in an older version of FrameMaker and I received the message about the document using unavailable fonts, to reformat using available fonts, click OK.  I have saved the document and all, but it fails on publishing stating it cannot due to font issues.  Any suggestions?

You can use FM's Font Pod to make permanent substitutions for all missing fonts:

Which publishing route in v.12 were you using? Regardless of the output selected, you must have the AdobePDF printer instance as the default when working in FM. Use the SetPrint utility from Sundorne, to ensure that it is always so. See: http://sundorne.com/FrameMaker/Freeware/setPrint.htm

Did it fail for a book file? If so, try opening all files in the book first.

You have a choice install the missing fonts or uncheck the preference to remember missing fonts, save the file, then re-open.
