Font Size in Millimeters

Can Framemaker be set to display font size in millimeters or inches?  We are trying to update a document to meet UL Certification and they have text heights listed in millimeters.  I can find a conversion online, but if it could be done in Framemaker that would be a lot easier.

Correct answer Arnis Gubins

Just enter the units in the Fonts > Size parameter of the Designers, e.g. 5mm. FM will automatically convert this to points (or Q values depending upon your Font units selected).

Note: the Font Size takes into account the descenders below the base-line, which is set at 1/3 the height of the font. So, for example, specifying a font size 6mm will have the height of capital letters at 4mm. Be certain what the "text height" in the spec is referring to.

Thanks for the information Arnis.  Now I get to dig through the UL document to see if it goes into detail about text height.
