Frame 10 page down driving me crazy

The behaviour of FrameMaker 10 when I page or scroll down is driving me crazy. I open a file, start to page down, get two or three pages into the file, and I'm back where I started. The only way I can keep this from happening is to click in the file each time I page down.

The same thing happens when I try to scroll down.

I know this was a bug in earlier versions of Frame but I thought it had been fixed. What the heck is going on? This is getting really annoying.

    Fingers crossed, I've not had this problem in FM 10 … but I do fairly often use Esc,b,f to position the cursor at the top of the page I'm looking at. Not enough wall space in my current office for the two A3 pages of shortcuts I used to have, but that's one that sticks in my mind :-}

    Spoke too soon, sort of – but it's only in master pages that I occasionally hit this problem, so not too often and not too many pages. YMMD :-}

    Hi Keith

    Rick's good old RunaroundNone plugin will help:

    But you're right: it's about time Adobe fixed that bug.

    Cheers

    I finally decided to post something about this today as well - it is still happening in Frame 12, in the year 2014!  "Page Down" basically does not work. It's like Adobe are determined to make me use my mouse, and to hell with carpel tunnel syndomeI......
