Frame 9: Paragraph Designer not leaving 'pagination' tab

This just started happening last night (have been using FM9 for a few weeks now).

I have a book open with 21 documents.

I needed to set 'keep with next' for a specific paragraph in one of the documents. Went in, selected it, and applied. Didn't like the result, cleared it and applied.

Went to a different paragraph in the same doc, Paragraph Designer is still showing the *previous* paragraph tag, and I can't switch to any of the other tabs in Paragraph Designer.

Switch to a different doc in the book. No difference. Paragraph Designer is still showing the tag from the previous doc.

Any idea what's going on? The only 'solution' I've found so far is to exit FM9 completely and restart. And then the problem happens again at some point (I can't replicate it consistently.)

What OS do you use: Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 7-64?

What patch level have your FM9: p255?

This fault is known, but in different combination e.g. of OS and patch level.

    Windows XP SP3

    FM9 p255

I'll go back and re-apply the patches and see if the problem disappears.

    Thanks all.

    Well....

    I uninstalled FM9.

    Reinstalled FM9.

    Applied all four patches.

    Was happy.

    Until... same problem occurred again.

Argh. Will see if I can make it happen consistently, then cry for help :-)

    Thanks anyway, guys.

This sounds like a problem that was fixed in an early update. Have you

applied all four updates? They are not cumulative. You must apply them all

in order to be completely up to date.
