Frame Maker シリアル番号が無効と言われ、インストールできない

インストールしていたパソコンからアンインストールして、別のパソコンにインストールしようと思ったら、「入力したシリアル番号は無効です」と表示されました。

同じパソコンにインストールしようと思ってもダメでした。

どうすれば、インストール出来ますか？

Two years ago when switching from Win-7 to Win-10 I had the same problem with FM-9. Even Adobe's intervention on my computer did not help. I had to accept to loss of FM-9 out of my FM suites (6 ... 16).

It sounds like the FM9 install process might have been reliant on some authentication server that Adobe has since shut down.

I suspect you're going to have to install it inside another version of Windows from much earlier. But you can always contact the FM folks - see https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#framemaker for your support contact options.

What version of Framemaker is this?
I don't think serial numbers have been the primary authentication key in many years.
That further leads to: what version of Windows (or might this even be MacOS, Solaris, AIX or something else)?
Very old versions of FM may not install at all on Windows 10.

    I used Framemaker9. The computer I want to install is Windows 10.

    I'm worried if my usage of English is correct, but I'd be happy if it could be communicated.

    Now that we know that this is about FM9 on Win10, there may be users here who are using it (or who know what happens when you try to install, re-install or migrate the license).

    I have not personally used FM9 in more than 6 years, and I wasn't the person who installed it at the time. And, at the time it would have been Windows 7, or even Windows XP.
