Hello,

I had some Fm7 files which i converted to frame maker 11. I was facing font issue for which i replaced the default font with windings. TOC links are not working in Main TOC but they are working smoothly in the SUB TOC.

For example :

Main TOC

      TOC 1

             TOC2

Links are not working in the Main TOC page but they work with TOC1 and TOC2.

When i checked the links alt ctrl click works for other TOC but not for the main TOC.

I want the links to work in PDF output format.

Can anyone please help me out with it.

Check for any formatting changes in the entries on your Reference page for the main TOC entry. FM restricts the hypertext link zone based upon formatting changes.

In FM, use the ctrl+alt keys to activate the hypertext linking and move the mouse over the entries on your TOC Body page. The cursor should change to a pointing finger in the active link area - check to see if it covers the entire paragraph.

In Acrobat, you can also turn on the Link tool to see the active link area.

You didn't mention if the Main TOC entry links work in FM using the ctrl+alt approach.

When you set up the Main TOC, did you check the "Create Hypertext Links" option?

Perhaps listing the steps that you used to create the Main TOC and showing a screen capure of the Main TOC Reference may help understand what you've done and why they aren't working.
