After upgrading to Frame 12, will documents created in version 8 be compatible?

Inspiring

FM12 can read older versions of documents, but older versions won't be able to read FM12 binaries (.fm files). If you save as MIF, then the documents can be read by FM8 and any newer features are ignored.
