Framemaker 12 2 flows - 2 pages

Hello,
In Framemaker 12, I try to create a template with a Flow A on the right page and Flow B on left page.

But when I want to open my XML file (a valid XML file), FM refuses to open it and tells me:

The template, doesn't contain a main text flow

XML open aborted

I tried with both Flow (A and B) on the same page and it works perfectly but not when it's on different pages.
Does anyone know why FM refuses to open my XML files?

Hoping some can help

Thanks in advance,

Philippe

Phillipe,

AFAIK, structured FM only acknowledges a single main text flow for structured content in a document. See the Structured Development Guide pertaining to Structured Templates and Master Pages:

"Master pages in a structured template are identical to their unstructured equivalent. In a normal

structured FrameMaker document only the main flow—typically flow A—makes use of the

element catalog. All other text frames should be formatted using unstructured paragraph formats

and character formats."

Other flows can be pulled in as text insets, but they shouldn't have a highest-level element specified.
