Framemaker 12 - Serial number already in use

Hello, i installed FrameMaker 12 on a new PC. 

I got the message that the serial number is already in use (with the maximum quantity of computers). I have to deactivate the product on another computer to use it.

The harddisk of the old computer crashed, so the old computer is not available anymore. 

What can i do to use the software?

    Hi can you please let me know where serial number will be available for Framemaker 12 version?

    @margareta75585528 What are you asking about? Your serial number should be in the Adobe account used to activate the copy of FM12.

    At: https://account.adobe.com/activated-devices
    (one you are logged in) it looks like you can deactivate devices from the Adobe end, and I presume without the device being on line.
    If your IT dept set up the device, of course, you may not have the Adobe credentials to access that account page.

        The support from Adobe had a solution for the problem, but i don't know the reason for it!

        If you are able to go to your Adobe account, the Activations link is on the left side. Click that and select the old computer and click the "Deactivate" button on the right in the Action column.
