FrameMaker 2015 Trial won't install on Windows 7

I meet all of the min. sys req for installing FM15. I have downloaded it and tried to install it more times than I can count, both on a laptop and a desktop both running Windows 7 with Service Pack 1. It appears to be installing, as it chugs along for 30 or more minutes. At the end, I get a message saying that it couldn't install with a link to an error summary file which doesn't exist. I have Creative Cloud and InDesign on my computer, perhaps there is an incompatibility.

I am beyond frustrated.
