Trying to install Framemaker 2019 on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit OS.

The installation fails asking  me to update Operating Sysytem.

Even after updating OS I get the same error.

Installing the trial would have been possible in Windows 7, too, simply by unplugging the computer from the net (i.e. leaving it without internet access) before installing FrameMaker. Turning the trial into a licensed version (by logging in/entering the serial) is what permanently fails in Windows 7. Because this step requires contact between your computer and the Adobe licensing server, which denies contact from old IE versions. From Windows 7 it doesn't matter if this is IE10 or IE11, both don't work, no matter which of the listed solutions you try.

Does the message only complain that the operating system is not up-to-date?

Or is there any specific info?

Can you cite the text of the message?

I have tried these steps but keep getting the same error. I'm not sure if I have done it correctly.

I had installed Robohelp a couple of months back. I faced similar issues while installation but a windows update and the steps you have suggested solved the issue.
