Framemaker 2019 and Sharepoint

Hi , I have been successfully working on shared FM documents saved in Sharepoint. If I tried to open a document that somone else was using  I got a warning and could either open a read-only file or reset the file lock if I was sure that no one else was using that file. That safety net seems to have disappeared and now my colleague and I can edit the same file without realising it. Unlike MS products in Sharepoint, the changes made by multiple users are then saved as separate documents. Can anyone assist?

    Not having ever used a CMS with FM…

    1. Has the co-authoring configuration changed on the Sharepoint side?
    2. In any case, does the normal FM lockfile generation work on a CMS?

    Until this gets settled, you might have to rely on Check-Out to prevent parallel edits.
