FrameMaker 2019 slow to respond

Hi everyone,

I am using FrameMaker 2019 on Windows 10 as part of the Tech Comm Suite. I converted a template from FM 11 to FM 2019, so I'm not sure if that is it. Whenever I open paragraph designer and make a change in a paragraph format, the window freezes for quite some time before the change takes effect. Just about any edit takes a long time. I installed Update 3 using the Help > Updates... utility. I am assuming that the utility takes care of installing any prerequisite updates? Not sure what to try. Any advice is much appreciated.

    Try renaming your preferences folder to force a preferences rewrite.
