Framemaker 8 Installation error 2229

Hi,

after uninstalling Framemaker 8 to get another language with a reinstall, i become an error message.

"Internal error 2229. ,LaunchCondition, SELECT `Condition`,`Description`FROM`LaunchCondition`

can anyone help me?

Adobe offers free technical support for installation issues. Give them a

when can I get the new version in German, with SP3?
on which way can I get it?
i can't install my computer new, only for adobe!

This error appears when you try to install FrameMaker 8 (german) on a Windows system with ServicePack 3.
Either you get the latest TCS Version 1.0.1 on CD or you downgrade to SP2.

Hi,

when I'm installing the German version of TCS, during the FrameMaker part of the installation I get the "Internal error 2229", too . If I choose English as application language there's no problem.
It's reproducible on several computers.

Adobe offers free technical support on installation issues on current
versions of its software. Perhaps you can give them a call. If not, you
can file a bug report:

Also, FYI, you didn't have to uninstall FM8 to add another language -
simply run the installer again and select the language(s) that you
need.
