Wir können Framemaker 8 unter Windows 10 nicht aktivieren.

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit außer der automatischen Internetaktivierung?

Alternative Proxyservereinstellungen?

    You might consider moving to a version of FrameMaker that explicitly supports Win 10 or moving back to an OS that is part of your Fm 8 system requirements.

    Per Wikipedia, Fm 8 released in 2007, while Win 10 released in 2015. I don't anticipate changes to (current version -6).

    I got a new license key from tcssup@adobe.com with which I completed the activation process.

    Now FM8 is running. Great!

    Hi Jeff,

    We've contacted Adobe Support this morning. The answer was that the activation process is not supported for Windows 10. Is that really so? I actually can't believe this. Because the program runs smoothly under Windows 10 (even FM7 does) and Adobe should offer it's clients with a FM8 license the possibility to activate the program.

    I've only heard of old versions of FM working on Win10 via VMs running older versions of Windows. Did you try reaching out to the FM support team - TechComm@adobe.com or tcssup@adobe.com ?
