Does anyone have recommendations for study materials that would help in passing the FrameMaker 10 certification exam?

    Hi Jay,

I don't know of study materials per se, but if you look at the FrameMaker Exam Bulletin, you'll get a sense of where to focus.

Along with solid FM authoring and template design skills, you'll find the following sorts of questions on the exam:

    • Structured Authoring
    • XML and DITA-specific questions
    • Integration with Captivate and with RoboHelp
    • An understanding of what a content management system does, and how FM can connect to one
    • An understanding of what the FM Server (now FM Publishing Server) does

The good news is I found the questions to be quite accurate. The bad news is that I found the exam to be challenging, even when you understand all the topics listed above. (And, yeah, I passed it on the first time )

Sadly, the Adobe Partner Finder still has FM8 listings on their website, but with any luck they'll remedy that before FM 12 is released </sarcasm>
