Our company requires us to use framemaker 11 > I purchased 4 lisenses for framemaker 12.   I just installed frammaker 12 and I'm trying to figure out how to down grade to framemaker 11 bc my company doesn't support 12 yet.

    Hi,

It is possible to downgrade your license to a previous version under certain License types only.

For downgrade request, I would suggest you to contact Adobe Tech Comm Support team using one of the below options:

Chat: Click here to Chat with Support

    or

              Phone support - 800-833-6687 (IVR Options - 2 > 4 > 2) for US & Canada.

For a list of phone support numbers for other countries, click here.

Please free to PM me in case you face any difficulty.

    Regards,

    Sharad

Until you get an answer you like better, you can use FM12 to work on FM11 documents.

Every version of FM can save-as-native-binary format to one revision back.
You do have to remember to Save-As FM11 rather than simply Save.

And of course you can't allow the document to contain any FM12-exclusive features.

You can exchange with even older FMs using Save-as-MIF, but with even more restrictions on features, esp at the 7.2/8 border.
