FrameMaker server vs single user licensing requirements for WebWorks Automap?

Hi guys,

Does anyone happen to know if a FrameMaker server license is required to support a WebWorks Automap HTML generation process?  Or is a single-user license acceptable (so long as only one user is accessing the machine).  My understanding is that WebWorks simply opens and closes FrameMaker files and does not use any FrameMaker functions to produce its content.  I've checked with WebWorks on this, but ultimately it's any potential Adobe licensing restriction that I'm concerned with.

We're currently using unstructured Frame, so much of our content could only be generated by having FrameMaker and WebWorks installed on the same workstation or VM.

Thanks in advance.

If you're actually running FM on a Windows server platform, then there's a high probability that the EULA demands you use the FrameMaker Publishing Server (FPS) instead. However, if you're just accessing existing FM files and not triggering FM via Webworks to do anything, then I don't see how a FPS license would be required.

There's a bit of info on the differences in the licenses at: FAQ | FrameMaker Publishing Server 12

However, I can't seem to find any more recent versions of the EULAs than the FM11 and FPS10 ones listed here: Licenses and terms of use | Adobe
