Framemaker XML Author (Author View)

We are planning to use our existing infrastructure for our XML-based solution. As part of this effort, we are planning to let R&D use the Adobe Framemaker XML Author to contribute/edit the DITA files. Adobe Framemaker XML Author in the Author view looks like a form that the R&D just needs to fill up and not bother working with the tags. However, I noticed during my search that Framemaker XML Author (Author View) does not let us edit a DITA concept topic using its forms interface. I can edit DITA task, reference, and topic (<!DOCTYPE topic PUBLIC "-//OASIS//DTD DITA Topic//EN" "technicalContent/dtd/topic.dtd" []>) topics using the Framemaker XML Author (Author View).
