Generate list of markers using section instead of page numbers?

I'd like to generate a list of markers using section numbers instead of page numbers. I've set up my headings with automatic paragraph numbering, and I've marked the citations in both the text and footnotes. The problem is, when I generate the list, it provides the section number for citations in the text, but there's no section number reference for the citations in footnotes. Is there a way to generate a list that will display section numbers for the citations in both the text AND the footnotes?

What do your entries on the LOM reference page look like, i.e. how are you referencing the section numbers?

Here's what the LOM reference on the reference page looks like: <$markertext> <$paranum>

It shows only the section numbers for text citations, not those in footnotes.

Does the Footnote paratag autonumber include the section number? If not, then there's no way you're going to get it in the LOM with the <$paranum> building block.

Do you set the section number building block at the book level for each file (<$sectionnum>, <$subsectionnum> are new for FM9)? If so, then you need to explicitly state these in your LOM statement for footnotes on the LOM reference page, e.g. <$markertext> <$sectionum>-<$paranum>
