Getting data from excel with ExtandScript

Hi Community,

Does anybody know how to get (read) data from excel with ExtandScript?

There is no way to read an Excel file directly with ExtendScript without some kind of custom connector. You would have to export the data from Excel first as text or XML and then process it with ExtendScript. FrameScript has this ability to read and write to Excel directly, but not ExtendScript.
