Has anyone ever run into a "circular text flow" error message when connecting text frames in FrameMaker?

When connecting text frames in a FrameMaker 11 document converted to FM12, I encountered the following error message:
"This connection is not possible. You may be trying to connect two text frames that would result in a circular text flow, or you may be trying to connect to a PostScript Code text flow."

Can you suggest a workaround to identify and resolve this conflict? Thanks very much in advance.
