Question

Has anyone tried installing Technical Communication Suite 2015?

We're not yet firmly entrenched in Robohelp 11, so I decided to go ahead and jump into TCS 2015. Unfortunately, only add-ons installed. The download appears to include two files: a single content 7z file and its corresponding executable (no applications). In the past, the download has contained a content 7z and an application 7z along with their corresponding executables. The content file always contained add-ons, so I'm not convinced the problem is mine or the installer. I think the package is shy two files, but.......

I spent some time in a screen share with Adobe Support, and he eventually went away indicating that he needed to examine the executable. He seemed convinced that the files were correct and couldn't figure out why it wasn't installing the applications on my machine. I have yet to hear anything (this was early yesterday afternoon so we're closing in on 24 hours), and I've checked the download page to see if they've corrected this. No change. I would have expected a more immediate response given that no one can trial the software until they fix the download.

So, I'm curious as to whether anyone else has experienced trouble with the installer or has been able to install the applications.

Thanks,

Peyton

They appear to have fixed this but despite assurances from support, the new TCS 2015 is not accepting subscriptions. I'm forced into trial mode currently.
