How can I link to another FrameMaker document in the same book using hypertext markers?

I would like to link to a separate FM file in the same book using hypertext markers, but I don't know what prefix to use. If I would normally say, "gotolink x" to link to a hypertext marker in the same FM document, what do I need to add or change if I want to link to a marker in another document contained in the same book? I remember seeing something about adding the file name to the marker text a few years ago, but I can't find the discussion anymore. Thanks!

Correct answer Arnis Gubins

Just use the gotolink filename:linkname construct, where the linkname is what's been inserted using the newlink marker.

Fantastic! It worked. I made sure to include the extension in the file name: gotolink filename.fm:linkname

Thank you.
