You can use FM's built-in Extendscript to do this (for an explicit MIF 10.0 version).

See Debra Herman's blog for the basic script:

Except, substitute "Constants.FV_SaveFmtInterchange100" for "Constants.FV_SaveFmtBinary90" in order to get a MIF10 version.

If you are saving from FM11 for use in FM10, save as FM10, and not MIF. The MIF10 option is only available in FM10.

What is the reason for specifically wanting the FM10 format?

I haven't used anything past FM9, so this is just a guess ...

It may be that only MIF7 and MIF9 are available options for FM9, 10 and 11.

If so, you can only interchange between FM10 and 11 by using MIF9, which means you can't use any features introduced after FM9.
