How do I convert hypertext links to DITA?

FM 11 checked into Vasont and then turned into a PDF via the DITA OTWe are using a combination of conversion tables and a few scripts to convert our legacy documentation to DITA. In some books we have a significant number of hypertext links. Currently the hypertext links are coming across with a page number and we don't want the page number.Example of what we get::General on page 6-1 - Where you enter the name of blah blahCode on page 6-4 - Where you create the code stuffPreview on page 6-8 - Where you can view a preview of other stuffExample of what we want::General - Where you enter the name of blah blahCode - Where you create the code stuffPreview - Where you can view a preview of other stuffNote that we are using the OTK to generate our PDFs as required by our parent company. We convert our FrameMaker files, validate them, check them into the Vasont CMS, and create the PDF from the CMS.TIA,Marsha

Hello Marsha,You should be able to edit the cross-reference formats that are being used, to get rid of the page numbers. Double-click one of the cross-references to open the Cross-Ref panel and use Edit Format to open the edit dialog. If this does not solve your problem, there must be something else that is wrong (it might be that the cross-refs are converted to plain text - did you check that?). If all else fails, send me an FM file with cross-refs in it (jang at jang dot nl) and I will have a look.Kind regardsJang
