Question

How do I remove an unwanted "Context:" prefix?

I am using Structured FrameMaker Version 17.0.1.305.  In a task topic, the "context" tag is required, if I want to add text above steps.  The "context" tag automatically displays the word "CONTEXT:"  in its own separate line, before the text.  I would like to remove the word "CONTEXT:"

I have an EDD that I have tried changing, called task.edd.fm.   I deleted prereq?, context?, from the General rule of the taskbody element.  It didn't change anything.

I cannot find the context element in the reference pages of either the EDD or an XML file.

In the EDD body pages, I can locate the Element (Container): context, but I do not see where I can delete the prefix.

Please let me know if you have any ideas that could help me.  Thanks!

Brian

The screenshots are from task.eddmod.fm (pages 4-6). Note that this file is a text inset imported into task.edd.fm.

How do you know that any screenshots are from task.eddmod.fm?

Hm. Could it be that this is a "Frame Above Pgf", which is set in the paragraph designer in the Advanced tab?

When you insert the Context element, is there anything in the paragraph designer?

You said that you did not find a Context element on the reference pages. A frame on the reference pages does not need to have the element name. It must have only the same name as referenced in the paragraph designer.

Frame Above Pgf says None.  Nothing related shows up in the Paragraph Designer.

Any chance that it's part of an autonumber expression in the /Numbering\ properties of the Paragraph(s) assigned to the content?

I don't think so.  When context is selected, there is no automatic numbering. I'm looking at the Paragraph Designer > Numbering.

I think it is programmed in the EDD somewhere, but I cannot find where.
