How do I resolve "Condition indicator for Inserted is inconsistent"?

Well … note which condition is throwing the message and in which file; then search for occurrences of that condition in the book, and compare the 'faulty' file with any file that occurs earlier in the book and uses the same condition. As far as I remember, pretty well any difference (not just show/hide but also Style or Colour) in the definition of the condition is enough to worry FM.

Or, if you feel lucky and just suspect you may have variant definitions of the same condition :-} choose the .fm with the settings you prefer, and boldly import Conditional text settings from that file throughout the book. I politely disclaim all responsibility, of course.
