How I fixed Error 205 on Adobe FrameMaker

So firstly I checked the logs, it said it was not picking up the license, so I needed to sign into my adobe account within the application, I could not do this initially because of error 205, it just kept force quitting the software. I have had an issue like this before and signing in and out usually fixes it in adobe products, but how can I do this if it force quits on opening? Well I found a trick:

  1.  Click 'Restore Last Session' button as soon as you open FrameMaker
  2. It ideally should be a fresh install, no sessions on your computer anywhere
  3. Leave open the message box and wait for Error 205 message to display, then click OK
  4. You should then get another message box come up saying "Can not Quit" or something like that
  5. Now you should be able to sign in and out of the software and enable the license in the cloud.

Other things I did / tried:

- Ran the program as administrator

- Enabled it in the firewall settings

I am not sure if these made a difference or not.

Anyway I thought I would post this as I think its a good trick incase anyone had similar issues.
