"The LHD configuration in Figure 5.1 will result in the matrix in Figure 5.3. This LHD has 10 rows and 3 columns. It can be used to run a simulation experiment with 10 runs and 3 factors. Users can choose to export the entire LHD matrix to the local machine or make subselections of the  generated LHD matrix and export the specified subselection (as in Section 4.3)"

Each of those "Figure X.X" should be a link to an image? How to??

Thank in advance

Typically it's a cross-reference to the captioning "Figure X.X" paragraph (and if none, to a similar invisible para hidden in a text frame behind the image).

The problem with CR-ing to the captioning is that then in my body paragraphs the link shows up with the Figure Call (i.e. Figure 5.1, Figure 2.3) and with the caption as well, "...generated LHD matrix and export the specified subselection (as in Section 4.3: Insert a range matrix)."

I would like it to ideally be "...generated LHD matrix and export the specified subselection (as in Section 4.3)."

What is this invisible para hidden in a text frame technique you speak of? I'm very new to Framemaker, so the struggles are becoming self-aware.

Thanks!

Time to invest in a copy of the FM bible - http://www.scriptorium.com/books/#pf11
