How to automate FrameMaker?

If you are looking at automating the publishing of external content via FrameMaker, then there are some third-party tools that

can also be used to "automate" this. There's a paper that may be illumating on FM database publishing at: http://www.adobe.com/products/framemaker/pdfs/FM_DatabasePub.pdf
