How to convert FM 6 files to Word or pdf?

I was running FM 6 on Windows XP on a Mac. (I know I am a dinosaur!).

I don't use FM now, but I have many files, including a book, that I want to easily access on my Mac.

I want to convert all of my FM files to Word or PDF or something that I can then move into Pages on my Mac.

Are there any conversion programs or ??

Thanks!

As far as I remember, FM 6.0 had the usual range of Save as … formats, including plain text, Word (probably an older version) and .rtf. Bear in mind that results of some FM tricks may disappear when you save as .rtf or .doc

I wouldn't personally have considered .pdf, because of the extra work involved in getting usable text back out of this format.

Thank you!! I did some more experimenting with Save As  - and found when I saved as MS Word (instead of Mac Word), then open the file in MS Office Word 2007 (Windows), I can save the file as a Word 97 - 2003 file - and voila'! I can drag it to my mac and open it with Word and/or Pages.

It's alot of clicks, but it works. Your suggestion prompted me to experiment more.
