How to do internal and external linking in Adobe Frame maker?

Note that cross-references automatically become document-internal hypertext (links) in the PDF of an FM document. If they happen to be to a separate FM document, they are exteral hypertext, but require careful planning.

Other external hypertext has to be inserted manually.
