How to enlarge the conditional text window in FrameMaker

Hi,

Does anyone know how to enlarge the "Show/Hide Conditional Text" window? Sometimes my condition tags are too long and run into the border so that I cannot see the full names. Is it possible (and if yes, how) to make the window bigger? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Lacey

You don't mention which version of FM.

You'll probably need to resort using something like Resource Hacker to modify the .dll or .exe file [depends upon where this is located] to expand the list areas. This is not a trivial task and you can really muck things up, so make backup of all files before hand. You can get an idea of what's involved from Klaus Daube's site where he has modified the Table's "Resize Columns" window. See: Dialogue Resize Selected Columns

Hi Arnis,

Thanks a lot for your information. I'm using FrameMaker 9, but unfortunately, Klaus Daube does not provide dialog modifications for this version. Klaus's modified fmdlg.dll is used for FrameMaker 7 only and will cause serious problem in FrameMaker 9.

Do you know any other Resource Hacker that can address the problem?
