How to insert a separator in the workspace?

Hi,

At the right of my FrameMaker window I have about 20 panels, separated by a few separator lines. I want to insert a new separator line in this panel area. Does anyone how to to do this?

When I right-click somewhere in this area, there is nothing.

I could edit the workspace file (rather experimental), but I would prefer to do this in the FrameMaker window.

c:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\FrameMaker\17\WorkSpaces\Structured\WYSIWYGView\xxx.fws

There I have a *.fws and a *.cfws file, but I do not know the difference.

Best regards, Winfried

IIRC, the .fws ones are the “factory” workspaces & the .cfws are the client customized ones (but I could have that backwards).

    Hi Jeff,

I am pretty sure that cfws are the default ones.

However, one of my own workspaces is there in fws and cfws format. Therefore the c does not just mean customer.

    Best regards, Winfried

Just created a new one in my Unstructured version of FM2022 & it seems to create both flavours of extensions for the same custom name - so I’m not sure what’s going on there.
