How to start a User Guide Document

I'm not sure how to specify the initial settings for a user guide document.

My user guide will contain 11 chapters, and each chapter will contain two levels of sections (Section and Sub-section).

I would like to have a ToC and have an index at the end.

I understand how to create paragraph tags and execute specific functions. Just not sure how to set up initial bounds of a document.

Thanks!

Write each chapter as a separate FM file and then use the FM book function to pull those chapters together. You can then add to the book a TOC and Index as FM generated files. You might want to look in the FM Samples/Overview/Book folder for an example of a book and component files.
