HTML output missing table headers

Hey guys, I am a new user to Framemaker. I have a document which has a table. I create an HTML file and all the relevant information shows up, except my table headers. They seem to be missing for some reason.

Any help would be appreciated 😄

NB: These are framemaker files from a previous employee.

re: I will just put the header content on the body pages for my html output

Let us know how that goes. If it fails, then the problem is unrelated to MP considerations.

Putting the content in the body pages seems to work just fine. Thanks so much 🙂

    Hi,

How do you create the HTML file? With Publish and HTML5 as the target format?

Is the header of the table really a header row? Or a regular row with a certain condition? You can see this, if you show all conditions with condition indicators. When you insert empty paragraphs before your table and your table breaks to the next page, it should have the header as well.

Generally FrameMaker 2020 exports also the table headers.

    Best regards

Thank you for your response 😄

My target output file is HTML5.

The table header has no conditions. The table header is on the master page.

For some reason, all the information on my master pages are not showing up on my HTML5 outputs.

re: The table header is on the master page.

See Matt's comment on Master Page content in HTML workflow.

There are various alternatives, but it appears that for HTML workflow the Body page Tables have to somehow populate the Header cell content (whether via text, text inset, Xref, Variable, etc.)
